In most cases we can get your Army records within 5 business days or less. If you served in the Army, or the USAR, or the ARNG after 1995, you should have a digital personnel file. We can usually access these within 1-2 business days.
There are a few exceptions to the 5 business day turnaround. If you were discharged between 1944 and 1964, it’s possible that your records were involved in the 1973 fire at the National Archives. If this is the case, these requests can take longer than the 5 business days.
If you served in the ARNG prior to 1995, your records might not be at the National Archives. If this is the case, we can usually still find them, but the process can take longer than 5 business days, because it might take us several different requests to find them.
In most cases though, we can get your Army records without too much trouble, and deliver them to you within a few days.
