USMC-Marine Corps DD214
In most cases we can provide you with Official Copies of your United States Marine Corps DD214 within 7 business days. If you choose our Express Service the hard copies will ship via USPS First Class mail directly to the physical address you provided when you ordered. If you select our Priority Express Service, you will receive an encrypted file containing a digital copy of your DD214 within 7 business days, and the hard copies will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail to the address you provided when you ordered.
There are a few exceptions to the 7 business day turnaround. Pre-1970 USMC DD214’s are located by reference to the service member’s Marine Corps Serial Number (dog-tag number). If you do not have this number, the process will be slowed down while we search for the Marine Corps Serial Number as a preliminary step. If you have a common name, this process can be challenging.
In general, older records take slightly longer than more-recent records. Pre-1955 records are considered “archival” records, and these can take a few days longer than Post-1955 USMC DD214 requests. Some recent USMC records are not at the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis. If this is the case, we will send you a digital link so that you can login and print out copies of your DD214.
