We typically work inside the National Archives during the day. We cannot talk on the telephone from inside, so please leave us a message, and we will return your call as soon as we can: (314) 488-7923. For a faster response, please email us, or message us through the digital form below. If you are contacting us for an update on your order before the 7th business day, please keep in mind that we can check on the status of your request at any time by submitting a request to the National Archives. But doing so can slow down the delivery of your record because processing will be suspended until the status update has been done. In our experience, this can slow the response time by 24 hours for each status update. Our advice is to be patient and wait until the 7th business day to request an update. In all likelihood, your request will have been completed, and no delay will occur. Most of the time this happens like clockwork.
