Military Research at Federal Records Centers Nationwide

We do all sorts of military research. The options are too plentiful to list. Some of the more popular requests we receive are detailed below, but we encourage you to contact us with questions or for help with any research you may be engaged in.

*Replacement DD214/Certificates of Service: If you've been told your records were destroyed in the fire we may be able to help. We may be able to gather enough information to have the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) issue a replacement DD214 called a "Certificate of Service." This is a legal document that must, like the DD214, be considered a valid proof of military service. It can be used to qualify veterans and veteran's families for benefits when those benefits are in order. Call us for details.

*Medal Research and Replacement: We can research a given medal to verify it, and order replacement medals, ribbons, and commendations.

*VA Claim Support: We may be able to help you verify your claims by researching your military record. We have had success searching inpatient medical records for treatments or injuries. We have been able to prove service in certain places at certain times by researching unit Morning Reports and Rosters. We have been able to prove involvement in certain campaigns or engagments by accessing service records hidden inside your Official Military Personnel File. Call us at (314) 488-7923, or email us with your issues prior to your hearing or appeal. We may be able to help.

*Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests: We have had success verifying service, locating veteran's for family members, and verifying various details of service via Freedom of Information Act Requests. Typically, information like dates and places of service, commendations, place of enlistment and separation, final rank and branch of service, and military photographs are available via Freedom of Information Act requests. Contact us, we may be able to help.

Or call us at (314) 488-7923 to order and pay instantly by phone.

*Research Dad's or Grandfather's (or Mom's) Service During the War: We may be able to find details to create a fairly complete reconstruction of a veteran's war-time service. Contact us for details at (314) 488-7923.
